Dancing

From festive jigs in the dining hall to Courtly waltzes before Royalty, your character could impress with their dancing skills - or be cursed with two left feet!

On this page, you will learn more about specific commands available in-game to roleplay dancing.

Overview

A number of specialist commands exist that, unlike usual verbs, will produce special text to describe their dance moves.

Of course, you don't have to use these commands. You can use standard verbs instead of or in addition to the specialist dance commands if you'd prefer. So free feel to shake my leg or hop up-and-down if that's what you want to convey!

Much like usual, adverbs can also be added to the command:

> dancetwirl deftly
You twirl around in a pirouette deftly.

Most commands also accept "with [character]" to describe partnered or group dancing:

> dancejig with kallistya
You dance a lively jig with Kallistya.
