On this page, you'll find an index of in- and out-of-character words and phrases, to help you understand instructions in and out of the game!

Word	Meaning
Ardor	An in-game festival equivalent to Valentine's Day.
bell	1. An hour 2. A open period, usually an hour, where someone offers some sort of service or activity (e.g., a seamstress bell at which your character can speak with a seamstress and order clothes.)
bells	The hour when telling the time, e.g., 5:00pm would be 5 Late Bells.
chime	15 minutes (as in, the clock chimes every quarter of an hour).
Early Bells	AM. E.g., 9:00am would be 9 Early Bells.
Late Bells	PM. E.g., 5:00pm would be 5 Late Bells.
Her Majesty	Queen Vivienne.
His Excellency	The Royal Consort, Lord Boreas.
His Highness	The prince, Prince Bertram.
moon	A month.
Moon	The month of the year. January is the 1st Moon, February is the 2nd Moon, March is the 3rd Moon, and so on.
parser	The system that accepts your commands and turns them into emotes for others in the room.
tick	A minute.
ser	1. A man. 2. The title for commoner men; the Marrachian version of 'Mister'. E.g., Bob would be ser Bob.
sera	1. A woman. 2. The title for commoner womenl the Marrachian version of 'Miss'. E.g., Mary would be sera Mary.
Yule	An in-game festival equivalent to Christmas.
