Game Policies

Accounts and Account Sharing

Castle Marrach uses an account system to manage the characters of its players. To thank those who contribute financially to keeping the game running, paid accounts offer some perks. There are however some rules to avoid the account system being misused.

Account types

Each player of Castle Marrach may have 1 account.

Freemium Account
Freemium
  • Single character
  • No access to additional characters
Subscriber Account
Subscriber
  • Two characters
  • Inner and Under Bailey character generation
  • May access all characters on the account if you already have more than two
Premium Account
Premium
  • Up to five characters
  • Inner and Under Bailey character generation
  • Draconic and Unseelie character generation
  • 50 StoryPoints per month
  • CombatXP gain rate bonus
  • Access to @hotspot anywhere

Up to two additional character slots may be purchased via StoryPoints. However a Subscriber (or higher) account is still required to play additional characters.

If you are caught having multiple accounts to get around the Freemium limitation, you may be suspended or banned or have other administrative action taken against you.

Changing account type

If you change from a Premium or Subscriber account to a Freemium account, you will have to choose 1 character as your free-to-play. You will no longer be able to access other characters you have created.

If you change from a Premium account to a Subscriber account, you will may still access all existing characters on your account.

Sharing accounts

Each account may only have 1 player per account.

If you are caught sharing an account with another individual, you may be suspended or banned or have other administrative action taken against you.
